Tammy Ruggles

Tammy Ruggles is a legally blind finger painter and freelance writer based in Kentucky. In 2001 a lifelong visual impairment, RP, forced her to retire from social work, and she turned to freelance writing as a second career. In April of 2013, she discovered that she could finger paint, and her art has since appeared in local art galleries and in the publications Art Times Journal, The Artist’s Network, Wisdom Crieth Without, Sasee, Revolution Art, among others. Her writing credits include Writer’s Digest, Disney’s Family Fun Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul, A Cup of Comfort, Spirituality & Health, American Profile, Vibrant Life, Newsmax, and many more.

Tammy’s art will grace all four 2014 issues of Edwin E. Smith’s quarterly Magazine
